The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection organized workshops on Ocean Literacy on April 25th and 26th, 2024, at The Hassan II International Environmental Training Center, under the theme “One Youth, One Ocean.” The workshops focused on communicating fundamental marine knowledge to the young community of Eco Schools and Young Environmental Reporters, programs supported by the Foundation.

The workshops provided an opportunity for the young students to discover the new educational tool developed by the Foundation and its center in collaboration with Institut National de Recherche Halieutique, and to attend various awareness sessions on ocean protection, thereby fostering a new generation respectful of the environment and committed to the values of sustainable development.

The Foundation is committed to playing its role within the framework of the Decade of the Ocean, as it As a founding member of the United Nations Decade Alliance of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (Ocean Decade), and acts as a catalyst for such initiatives.
