The Eco-Schools program is one of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) flagship programs. In 2006, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection introduced the Eco-Schools program in Morocco.

The Young Reporters for the Environment program is an educational program, conducted in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, for middle and high school students from the category of age (11-14 years), (15-18 years) and (19-21years).It aims to raise awareness of local environmental issues by conducting journalistic investigations through written reporting and photography on topics related to major themes (the city, agriculture, coast, waste, water, energy, biodiversity, solidarity).

This Ecolabel aims to change the behavior of stakeholders such as businesses, local authorities, customers, and the local community and involve them in increasing their responsibility towards their environment.
