All for our environment

VIGEO, a firm specializing in the evaluation of the social responsibility of organizations, awarded the Association Responsable® label to the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection.

On December 7th, 2014, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, was presented with the Certificate of the Association Responsable® label by Ms. Nicole Notat, President of the international firm, VIGEO.

Always in her approach, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa wanted her Foundation to be one of the first associations in Morocco to voluntarily submit to the demanding Association Responsable® scorecard reference framework, based on applicable legal texts, on the highest standards of associative governance, and on public international standards for human rights and environmental protection.

For the Foundation, this label is an assurance to all partners who support its programs, a model for associations, and for the public in the framework of education and awareness-raising about sustainable development.

The Association Responsable® label, which is the equivalent of the Social Responsibility label for Organizations (SRO), after an audit based on over 150 indicators, certifies the Foundation’s capacity and commitment to the principles defining its social responsibility. It also attests to the existence and reliability of its accounts, information about its programs, governance, results of operations, and the degree of satisfaction of its beneficiaries.

The reference system and audit methodology leading to the Association Responsable® label, developed by Vigeo, provides associations with support tools for the proper formalization of their missions, the continuous improvement of their management, control of their operational risks and reputation, and enhancement of the quality of their dialogue with their members, partners and the civil society.
