60 institutions have raised the Green Key in 2011: 29 hotels, 23 guesthouses; guest farms 3 and 4 gites, representing an increase of 50% from the 2010 edition. The 2011 was also marked by the visit of candidates accommodations to ensure their involvement in the implementation of a progressive approach to environmental management.

In Morocco, this program is supported by the National Office of Tourism in Morocco (ONMT) and the Ministry of Tourism.

For mentioning, the Green Key label is the first network of ecological tourism accommodation, friendly environment, relocated in 22 member countries of the International Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) for 1400 accredited institutions.
