Under the broad environmental awareness agenda initiated by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, and as part of the Global Warning on the State of the World Campaign, the Earth photographer, Yann Arthus-Bertrand, and HRH PRINCESS LALLA HASNAA, President of the FM6E, inaugurated the Earth from Above exhibition on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Parc de la Ligue Arabe in Casablanca.

Given the very high interest in environmental protection and in these aerial photographs, as well as their great success with the Casablanca public, HRH PRINCESS LALLA HASNAA wished that the people of Marrakech could also benefit from this exhibition at Arsat Moulay Abdeslam.

The awareness campaign objectives willed by Her Royal Highness are very clear: inspire Moroccan sensitivity to the planet’s beauty and its state of danger.

The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection and Mr. Yann Arthus-Bertrand invite us on a journey, the result of patient research work begun in 1990.
