International Conference Sustainable coastal management Role of education and awareness – raising

Under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and under the presidency of       Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, President of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection and Ambassador for the Coast, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection has organized an international Conference on the Coast entitled: Sustainable coastal management: The role of education and awareness – raising, on Saturday October 9, 2010 at the City Hall in Tangier. This conference is under the auspices of UNESCO, and the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development framework, conducted in partnership with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

This event has strengthened experience and partnership exchanges, with the participation of national and international experts from the United States, Senegal, the United Kingdom, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, France, Spain etc.
