HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Chairwoman of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, visited, Tuesday in Marrakech, the Oum Al Fadl school, part of the Eco-School program, led by the Foundation.

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, who was accompanied by Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), José Graziano Da Silva, followed a presentation about the ecological symbol of the school and the Oum El Fadl oasis and its irrigation system by recycled water.

Her Royal Highness also followed presentations about the garden of aromatic herbs, the organic pedagogical garden, the eco-school program in the multimedia room, and the energy component based on rationalizing power consumption through the use of economic light bulbs.

HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa also visited a preschool class in the Oum Al Fadl school before posing for a souvenir photo with all the school’s eco-schoolers.
