All for our environment

In the presence of her President, Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection  has signed on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017, in Rabat, on the sidelines of the 7th Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers (ICEM), a program of cooperation with ISESCO for 2018 and 2019.

The program implemented aims at giving a new impetus to the cooperation between the two organizations. ISESCO will accompany the Foundation in the whole of the countries where it intervenes, for the sharing of its expertise in coastal management, air quality, in Education for Sustainable development with, in particular, its programs Eco-schools and Young Reporters for the Environment, for the sharing of its good practices, the development of educational tools, for the formation of the formators and the young journalists for the environment, and finally for the provision of its network of environmental experts and its associative network.

In 2017 this partnership allowed the organization of three seminars of formation and sensitization. The first one was held in Casablanca in May for the formation of young journalists in e-learning, the second in Amman (Jordan) in July around responsible tourism, and finally the last one in Dakar in September for educational tools in the service of Education for Sustainable development.

ISESCO (Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) is a partner of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental protection , for education and sustainable development since 2007. In ten years of a fruitful collaboration materialized by two conventions signed in 2007 and 2013, the Foundation and ISESCO worked in the sensitization of educators in the field of environmental protection, in the integrated water resources management in favor of NGOS and institutional partners, in the strengthening of the role of the civil society in the development of a responsible tourism and in the formation of the African journalists regarding climate change.
