The Foundation’s CO2 calculator is an educational and action tool to mitigate global warming. It covers four means of transportation: plane, train, car and motorcycle. It determines the CO2 released during the trip and enables offsets via two voluntary carbon offset programs developed by the Foundation: solar electrification of rural schools in Morocco, and planting young palms in the Marrakech palm grove.

The calculator is available online on the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection’s website, and on applications for iPad, iPhone and Android phone.
