HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa, Chairwoman of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, chaired, on Saturday in the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco in Rabat, the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Young Reporters for the Environment programme.
On this occasion, HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa delivered a speech in which she stressed that “the praise this program has received at the international level never was an end in itself. In fact, it has provided an incentive to build on what has been achieved and to continue improving this model program in order to ensure sustainability.”
HRH has chaired also the signing ceremony of a partnership agreement on the “Young Reporters for the Environment” programme.
with the National Education Ministry, the agreement is intended to institutionalize the programme and develop environmental awareness among children as well as to promote participatory teamwork in Moroccan high schools.
