The very attractive site enables the promotion of an original form of teaching, emphasizing the pleasure and curiosity of learning. The aim is to encourage an improved relationship with nature by urban populations who are increasingly distant from it.

This learning circuit aims to a wide audience. The promotion of good environmental practices is illustrated through several thematic features located in the certain areas of the gardens. Within a unique setting, the modules inspire curiosity and a desire to understand better environmental issues for walkers, both young and old.

This project will gradually be implemented and will include other historic gardens rehabilitated by FM6E.

The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection rehabilitated the Bouknadel Exotic Gardens under the presidency of  Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, with the support of its partners. The gardens were inaugurated on November 23, 2005.

Since their opening, the exotic gardens have received about 600,000 visitors.
