More than 700 projects coming from 96 countries were presented in the different categories. The Jury was chaired by former Environment Minister of India Maneka Ghandi.

The principal aim of Qualit’Air programme of Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection as defined by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa is to raise awareness and training campaigns targeting everybody concerned.

There is an environmental urgency at the global level. “It’s two to midnight, and we must act!”, said the President of the European Parliament. The event of 11 April was an occasion for the winners to take part in the round table meeting hosted by European Parliament Committee on Industry, Research and Energy to discuss perspectives for a new energy future. Participants discussed different issues such as renewable energies, the nuclear issue, energy efficiency and traditional energy sources. They were convinced that rapid and responsible measures must be taken and that everyone is concerned.
