Discover the exhibition “Another Perspective on the Environment” at Oum Essaâd Garden in Laayoune !
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, under the presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, is pleased to invite you to a unique immersive experience at the heart of the Oum Essaâd Garden in Laayoune, to discover its original exhibition: “Another Perspective on the Environment,” starting from May 11, 2026.
This photography exhibition celebrates the commitment of thousands of Moroccan middle school, high school, and university students through the “Young Reporters for the Environment” program, launched by the Foundation in 2002 in partnership with the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
The program aims to raise ecological awareness among youth by encouraging them to explore and document local environmental issues through the lens of journalism. Participants write articles, capture photographs, and produce video reports, transforming concrete issues into powerful messages.
The works on display are award-winning photographs by young Moroccan reporters from the national and international competitions held between 2002 and 2025. They illustrate the diversity of topics covered across the Kingdom and the richness of youth perspectives on their environment. Each winning photograph reflects the passion, creativity, and dedication of this generation to the planet.
Join us for a visually inspiring journey through the environmental commitment of Moroccan youth. Come in great numbers to celebrate their creativity and contribution to a more sustainable future.

For the 2025 edition, 45 beaches had submitted their applications, illustrating the growing interest of coastal communities in this label, recognized for its contribution to sustainable tourist attractiveness and the promotion of territories.
