COP 27 : Organization of a side event on decarbonization at the Moroccan pavilion

For decarbonation day at COP27, The Mohammed VI Foundation pour environmental protection organized, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco, the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency, the Moroccan Institute for Normalization, and the General Directorate for Territorial Collectivities (DGCT), organized a Side Event at the Moroccan Pavilion, on “Low Carbon Transition resilient to Climate Change”.

It was also an opportunity to present the Moroccan Bilan Carbone® Tool, updated and upgraded by the Foundation and its partners, with a national carbon base of + 300 emission factors, to support companies, organizations and territories to measure their carbon footprint in order to reduce our GHG emissions.

This event was also an opportunity to present the efforts of our international partners UNFCCC Climate Neutral Now, GGGI Morocco and Association pour la transition Bas Carbone (ABC), as well as national partners, to support Moroccan economic actors towards decarbonization.
