
Moreover, it is useful to note that the framework agreement between the Foundation and the CGEM, among other purposes, is to develop Eco Businesses program in enterprises conducting initiatives in this area, such as reducing water consumption, energy, raw materials or substitution of fossil fuels with renewable energy,waste management promoting recycling, etc… .
This event is part of the implementation of the recommendations of the International Conference on sustainable coastal management, organized by the Foundation on the 9th October 2010 in Tangier. These recommendations focus on strengthening environmental monitoring of coastal ecosystems, regular updating of environmental indicators to assess the impact of actions taken on the quality of ecosystems and the development and exploitation of marine protected areas to make those places privileged for education and awareness.
Experts, partners and local officials were mobilized to introduce participants to their experiences for a better environmental management and to communication approaches towards businesses, local stakeholders and users.










For the 2025 edition, 45 beaches had submitted their applications, illustrating the growing interest of coastal communities in this label, recognized for its contribution to sustainable tourist attractiveness and the promotion of territories.
