After traveling through Meknès and Fès in the spring, the final stop of the GREEN TIME workshops took place on May 13th, 14th, and 15th at the Palmgrove of Marrakech, alongside the World Biodiversity Day. More than 120 primary and preschool eco-schools students were invited to discover the fundamental role of companion plants in permaculture, as well as the richness and uniqueness of the palm tree within their local environment.
At the heart of this iconic site, the children explored with wonder the living connections between plants and their ecosystem. A highlight was the collective creation of a herbarium, made from plant parts received from their fellow eco-students in Rabat, thereby creating a living and symbolic botanical bridge between these young ambassadors of nature, far beyond the kilometers that separate them.
This station marks the conclusion of the 13 workshops held in 2025 at our emblematic sites, reflecting GREEN TIME’s lasting commitment to sowing the seeds of respect, curiosity, and ecological action in the new generations.
Through these workshops, GREEN TIME demonstrates that every gesture, every discovery, and every sharing contribute to rooting the values of ecology, solidarity, and responsibility, essential to building a greener future.
