What is the WEEC?

This big biennial event is an exchange between researchers, teachers, participants and specialists in environmental education. The 2013 event will welcome 1,200 participants and communications, over a five-day period, on environmental education and awareness and also on practical experiences from all over the world.

What is it mostly about?

This event’s central theme is Urban and rural: seeking greater harmony. It will be covered in three plenary sessions, involving major international institutions such as UNESCO, ISESCO, FEE and UNEP.

The plenary sessions take place in the morning and afternoon during three days (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).

Many other topics are also addressed with the thematic niches

The WEEC 2013 is a vibrant exchange on multiple issues and 11 thematic niches covering additional topics, which will be addressed outside of the plenary sessions. These themes will take place in the form of oral presentations, roundtables and workshops, from Monday to Thursday, during the morning and afternoon, outside the plenary sessions.

The side-events enable networking and demonstrate concrete examples

Starting at 5:00 p.m. following the plenary sessions and thematic niches, 20 international side events will take place. Organizations will present themselves through their achievements, and will be networking, which is another benefit of the WEEC: meetings and making contacts.

National side events provide examples of specific cases of environmental achievements in Morocco.

NGOs in the spotlight

The Foundation is bringing together 36 NGOs from across the country for them to meet each other, develop relationships with environmental specialists, and meet the press. This is an opportunity to meet them: they are coming to you! They will attend the NGO Forum on Wednesday afternoon.

Exhibitions and activities at the Palais des Congrès

An exhibition space showcases the work of students, artists, NGOs and businesses. These exhibitions are ongoing, from Monday to Thursday.

The city celebrates the environment

Cultural events mobilize Marrakech in celebration of the environment: an educational tour of the palm grove, an air pollution measurement truck … the Marrakchis are participating in WEEC 2013 in their own ways!

Side events

Friday is organized without presentations or side-events in order to allow participants to visit or attend an outdoor activity: a wastewater treatment plant, the Toubkal National Park…. Choose your activity and go discover!

ما المقصود بالمؤتمر العالمي للتربية البيئية؟

هو تظاهرة كبرى تنظم كل سنتين لتشجيع التبادل بين الباحثين والمدرسين والفاعلين والمتخصصين في التربية البيئية. وتعرف دورة 2013 مشاركة 1200 شخصا وتقديم العديد من البحوث خلال خمسة أيام، تشمل مواضيع التربية والتحسيس في مجال البيئة، وكذا بعض التجارب الملموسة في هذا المجال عبر العالم.

ما هي المواضيع المطروحة خلال المؤتمر؟

تم اقتراح موضوع رئيسي تحت عنوان: “التربية على البيئة والرهانات من أجل انسجام أفضل بين المدن والقرى”. وستتم مناقشته خلال ثلاث جلسات عامة، تشارك فيها مؤسسات دولية كبرى مثل اليونسكو والإيسيسكو، ومؤسسة التربية البيئية وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة.

وتجرى الجلسات العامة على مدى ثلاثة أيام (الاثنين والثلاثاء والخميس)، خلال الفترة الصباحية وفترة ما بعد الظهر. (انظر “مواضيع المؤتمر”)

كما ستقوم شخصيات مرموقة ومشاركون عدّة بتقديم عروض خلال الجلسات العامة.

ستتم مناقشة قضايا أخرى متعددة في إطار المواضيع المتخصصة

يعتبر المؤتمر العالمي للتربية البيئية لسنة 2013 فرصة سانحة للتبادل حول مواضيع متنوعة سيتم طرحها على هامش الجلسات العامة. وهناك 11 موضوعا متخصصا سيتم تقديمها على شكل عروض شفهية موائد مستديرة وورشات، وذلك من الإثنين إلى الخميس، خلال الفترة الصباحية وفترة ما بعد الظهر، وخارج أوقات الجلسات العامة.

تمكن التظاهرات الموازية من تسهيل عملية التشبيك ومن عرض تجارب ملموسة

على الساعة الخامسة بعد الظهر، وبعد نهاية الجلسات العامة، سيتم تنظيم 20 تظاهرة موازية دولية، وذلك بمشاركة منظمات ستقوم بعرض إنجازاتها وتعزيز عملية التشبيك وإثراء اللقاءات، وهو ما يميز المؤتمر العالمي للتربية البيئية.

وخلال التظاهرات الموازية الوطنية، سيتم تقديم بعض الإنجازات الملموسة في مجال البيئة بالمغرب.

المنظمات غير الحكومية – ضيفة الشرف

قامت المؤسسة بدعوة 36 منظمة غير حكومية من جميع أنحاء البلاد للتعريف بها وتمكينها من ربط علاقات مع المتخصصين في مجال البيئة وكذا مع وسائل الإعلام. ويمكن الاستفادة من هذه الفرصة من خلال منتدى المنظمات الحكومية الذي سينظم بعد ظهر يوم الأربعاء.

العروض والأنشطة المنظمة في قصر المؤتمرات

يُمَكن فضاء العرض من التعريف بإنجازات التلاميذ والفنانين والمنظمات غير الحكومية وكذا المقاولات. وتنظم هذا المعارض بشكل دائم، من الإثنين إلى الخميس.

مدينة مراكش تعيش تحت شعار البيئة

ستعيش مدينة مراكش على إيقاع البيئة، وذلك بفضل الأنشطة الثقافية، ومن ضمنها المسار التربوي عبر واحات النخيل و الشاحنة الخاصة بقياس تلوث الهواء….وهكذا سيشارك المراكشيون على طريقتهم في فعاليات المؤتمر العالمي للتربية البيئية 2013 !

الأنشطة الموازية

خلال يوم الجمعة، سيتمكن المشاركون في المؤتمر من القيام بأنشطة خارجية، وستشمل زيارة محطة معالجة المياه المستعملة والمتنزه الوطني لتوبقال وغيرها. قوموا باختيار النشاط الذي يلائمكم وانطلقوا في عالم الاكتشاف !
