About 45 representatives of the FEE member countries were present. These meetings aim at defining: The programs’ vision and orientations ; The plans of action for each program ; The strategy to be adopted by the FEE for the sponsoring; The sharing of experiences. The FEE is an international non-governmental organization, represented in 55 countries throughout the 5 continents, and benefits from the support of the United Nations Programme for Environment (UNPE) as well as the World Organization for Tourism (WOT). Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of Environment has joined the FEE in June 2002 and has become a “full member” in 2005 thanks to the relocation of the aforementioned first four programs in Morocco and has developed 4 international programs: 1.The Young Reporters for Environment ; 2.The Eco-Schools; 3.The “Blue Flag” label for beaches and marinas, 4.The “Green Key“ label for tourism establishments ; The LEAF for schools will be developed by the Foundation.
