Restoration of Historic Parks and Garden

Arsat Moulay Abdeslam - Marrakesh
Arsat Mulay Abdeslam, the princely garden of Marrakech, has been restored in accordance with its original history. With its eight hectares in the heart of the city, it is truly a space for environmental awareness and education.
A green space in the heart of Marrakech
With the commitment of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, the authentic Arsat of Moulay Abdeslam Park was restored and now offers visitors virtually the same appearance it did three centuries ago, when established by Aleouite Prince Moulay Abdeslam.

Located in the heart of Marrakech, a few hundred meters from Jemaa El Fna Square, this garden boasts an exceptional location. Extensive, with its eight hectares and widely open to the city, its condition required major renovation.

This was carried out in 2003 with the support of Maroc Telecom and the Arsat was transformed into a Cyberpark, at the initiative of HRH Lalla Hasnaa. Reopened in 2005, it has become not only a place to walk, but also a space for animation and the discovery of new information technologies. It features a cyber space, multimedia terminals and an exhibition room at the Telecoms Museum.
