On May 27, 2024, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection organized the Partners’ Workshop for the “Clean Beaches 2024 Campaign” entitled “Towards a Model of Excellence and Impact” at the Hassan II International Center for Environmental Training. More than 120 representatives of the main actors of the programme participated, including representatives of provinces, prefectures, economic partners, coastal municipalities, ministries, local associations and federations.

Experts enriched the Inspiration Session with interventions on the environment, education, sport, inclusion, partnership and communication, aimed at exploring environmental opportunities and strengthening the commitment of partners to preserve beaches and coastlines. Operation Bharblaplastic, now in its fifth edition, was highlighted as an example of excellence and impact.

During the “Turning opportunities into action” session, thematic workshops allowed partners to propose and share best practices as well as short, medium and long-term actions for the “Clean Beaches” program.
