The « Young Reporters for Environment » program launched in 2001 celebrates this year, its five years of existence which is considered to be a positive result.

The year 2006 has also been marked by a clear evolution as regard to the quality of participations, and the number of students participating to this competition (107 written reports and 367 photos have been meticulously examined by the jury appointed by the Foundation).

Within the partnership established between Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of Environment and the Ministry for National Education, and thanks to the commitment of the partners ONEP, CGD, HOLCIM, APC, OCP… and more particularly the support of Nestlé Morocco, the Foundation could launch, maintain and develop this program by introducing it within the international framework.

Thus, and like the previous years, the prizewinning articles and photos in Morocco have been submitted to the FEE (Foundation for Education) international jury in Paris which has granted the photo first prize to Mohamed Belhassan El Ouazzani secondary school in Khemisset,  Rabat-Salé-Zemmour- Zaeir Academy.
