As part of the ongoing GREEN TIME workshops, two new educational stopovers brought the spring season to life for eco-schools students, on April 22, 23, and 24 in Meknes, and then on April 29, 30, and May 2 in Fez, held in celebration of Earth Day, and officially registered on the international Earth Day calendar.
In the historic Lahboul Park in Meknes, children followed an immersive educational trail, discovering the local plant and animal biodiversity. Their curiosity was sparked by the trees, birdsong, and the wonders of nature all around them.
In Jnan Sbil, the legendary garden of Fez, they were welcomed by a photo exhibition from the Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE), showcasing the commitment of their peers to a more respectful and sustainable planet.
The workshops were filled with meaningful hands-on activities: making compost from natural materials collected on-site, and planting seed bombs sent by their friends in Rabat, a green and symbolic exchange between young nature ambassadors, united by their desire to make their cities greener.
These days were much more than just field trips, they planted seeds of wonder, connection, and action in young hearts and minds. By offering children a mindful encounter with the living world, GREEN TIME continues to root the values of ecology, sharing, and commitment at the core of their learning journey.
