Her Royal Highness also visited the Environment and Health and Human Rights Clubs that organize activities related to the awareness-building among the students, as well as the celebration of national days … Explanations for various activities were provided to Her Royal Highness.
Her Royal Highness proceeded with the students to plant a palm tree in the theme garden developed by the students. This garden is designed to contribute to the implementation of the Environmental Education Program and create a pleasant environment for both pupils and teachers.
To be recalled is that, the Young Reporters of the Environment Program was initially developed in 1990 in Europe by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE); this program is intended to raise awareness among students on environmental issues.
After its membership in FEE in July 2002, the Fondation Mohammed VI pour la Protection de l’Environnement decided to implement this program in Morocco in partnership with the Ministry of Education, covering 16 academies and involving over 500 schools and 7500 students.
Their work was rewarded at the international level. Worthy of mention is that in 2007 the Koutoubia school was awarded the International Energy Award.
