Carbon Expo is a multilateral communication platform for policy makers, experts, financiers, academics and civil society. Participants from over 120 countries attended the 9 plenary sessions and 28 workshops, and visited 55 exhibition stands representing the financial sector, industry, and some countries including Morocco.

Alongside plenary sessions and roundtables, several contacts were made with the operators of voluntary carbon offsetting, including the Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS), the Gold Standard, My Climate, EcoAct, and Atmosfair, to learn about procedures concerning the labeling of offset credits by the Foundation.
