On October 12, 2022 the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, in close collaboration with Royal Air Maroc, member of its Board of Directors and signatory to the Qualit’Air Charter, organized, for Royal Air Maroc employees, a full-day session on raising awareness about the environment and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It was held at the Hassan II International Center for Environmental Training, and attended by 70 Royal Air Maroc employees, who came to explore the Center and participate in workshops to raise awareness about the SDGs.
RAM employees were able to participate in a first fun workshop, the purpose of which was to connect the good practices implemented by the various RAM businesses to the 17 SDGs to illustrate in concrete terms how these objectives are applied in the daily actions of the national airline.
The participants then attended 3 SDG workshops of their choice, including: SDG #4 Quality Education; SDG #6 Clean Water and Sanitation; SDG #7 Clean and Affordable Energy; SDG #11 Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG #12 Responsible Consumption and Production; and SDG #13 Climate Change, CO2 Reduction and Net Zero.
Finally, the day ended with a visit to the Exotic Gardens, a space rehabilitated and managed by the Foundation, adjoining the Hassan II International Center for Environmental Training.
