May 12, 2014 : 2200 lifeguards trained for this summer
2200 lifeguards are concerned this year by the seventh training cycle, against 1663 last year. They will take up their posts in the framework of the 13th season of Clean Beaches, program of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection.
The Foundation works on professionalizing the profession of lifeguards, to reinforce summer residents’ security on beaches. The security is also one of the principles criteria on which Clean Beaches are evaluated to obtain the Blue Flag.
